When are we working on your property? Year Round!

Robotic mowers are set up in March and continue to mow through November.  Robotic mowers will mow 2-3 times a week performing this task that requires little skill.
A skilled technician will come out once a week and perform various tasks around your property.  These tasks are based on the time of year but could include
- String trimming edges around concrete and landscape beds
- pruning plants at the best time for the specific plant
- treating your grass with fertilizer and weed control
- treating for weeds that may show up in your landscape beds
- maintaining the robotic mower - cleaning it, replacing blades, checking on software updates
During the months of December, January, and February
- we plan to show up every two weeks unless the ground is covered in snow.
- we will blow leaves from patios, driveways, and sidewalks
- Additionally we will perform some selective pruning on plants that need their plant structure changed to create a better growing plant

What are the benefits of using a robotic mower?

Picture
They are nearly silent
They cut very small lengths of grass blades each time they are active.  Doing this doesn't stress out your grass like cutting once a week and removing large lengths of grass blades.
You have a fresh mowed yard all week long, not just that one day after it is mowed.
Larger, heavier mowers can cause damage to the soil if it is muddy.  Robotic mowers only weight about 40 pounds and have movements that are small and precise which is gentle on the turf.

What are the needs of your property to utilize this service?

Robot mowers have several needs.  They are
- Electricity to charge them.  They require about 1-3 charges per mow.
- A space of about 4' x 4' to put a charging station at.  The space needs to be flat and level.  We can help modify an area if needed.
- Access to your homes Wi-Fi.  This might be changing with a new robot that is coming out in 2026.

Questions About Robotic Mowers

Will it run over my dog or toys left in the yard?  No.  They have radar and cameras.  They are always scanning the property and looking for obstacles that could be hurt or damaged.  The mowers will either stop and wait for the object to move or it will come up with a way to go around the object.  Additionally they have bumpers that when depressed stop the mower.  So if it bumps into a fence or rock it will adjust its path to complete the mowing task.
Does this mower need boundary wires? No.  It uses satellites and radar to detect where it is.  Part of our set up is to program it on your lawn.  The more it runs on your lawn the better it will get at mowing it.
Can this mower mow my yard if I have a fence?  Only if you open a gate for it.  We suggest having a second mower in an area that has a gate so you don't have to open and close fence gates.
